Creating content for a website is not always easy, but information is what drives the internet. If you do not have unique, informative content on your website, neither the search engines, or your visitors will appreciate your website. Whatever your niche is, you want to become known as one of the
most informative sites on the internet about your subject. We worked hard at and achieved a reputation on the internet of being the place to go to find out about soap nuts. It did not happen overnight, but we built more and more pages over time and eventually accomplished our goal.
Creating material
When we first started building our website, my wife and I wrote all the material for it. We are both well-educated, so the content was good, but it took more hours than we had time to spend. Then we heard about Elance. Basically Elance is a place where you can outsource your work to bidders all over the world. We found that we could get 500-700 word articles written for $8-10 per article. We still had to edit some of the articles to bring them to the quality we were looking for, but it saved us hours and hours of work. When posting projects on Elance, make sure you are very specific in what you want. If you are too vague, you will not get good results.
Get two of each article
If you are purchasing articles, make sure to request two different articles for each topic. You will need the extra copies for the next step of building links for your website. First, though, let's take a look at content versus backlinks.
